Background
  • Initiative of the Stockholm Goethe Institute and other Nordic Baltic GIs 1999-2002
  • realization in Finnland 2002: Dafnord network  of the Finnish DaF teachers
  • 40 schools (now: 60), one distant learning network, one university
  • official opening of the Website Dafnord October 10-12, 2002 at the 3rd Baltic DaF Teachers’ Day in Tallinn

Dafnord
  • a community of non-German teachers of German
  • promotes computer-mediated DaF teaching, intercultural learning and new media didactics
  • concentrates  on collaborative partner projects and on interactive services on the Internet

Internet-Tool: eJournal 1/2
  • a easy-to-use tool on the Internet
  • always achievable
  • a browser ( IE, Netscape, Mozilla etc.) is the only program needed
  • text-editing, mouseclicking and surfing are the only skills needed
  • introduction in the training course  ”Learn Internet Projects by Doing LIP” in 2002-03 (http://lip.eduprojects.net)

  • in March 2004 for Denmark, Japan, France, Turkey, the USA, Italy, Mexiko, Israel, Estonia, Serbia-Montenegro, Hungary, Poland, Russia, the Netherlands.
  • in addition there is the eJournal DaF 13 for „Bild“-coordinators and contact persons in 33 countries
